Tanya is an Indian-American illustrator and character designer. Born in Tanzania and raised in India, she’s called Virginia home for 8 years

Her digital canvases beautifully reflect her diverse upbringing, weaving together elements of her multicultural heritage with whimsy, joy, and a touch of magic. With over 20 illustrated books to her credit, Tanya’s digital mastery has enchanted readers of all ages. From product illustrations to bespoke wedding artwork, her digital creations add a special touch to every project. 
Through her work, Tanya invites viewers into a world where pixels dance with imagination; each stroke of her stylus tells a story of wonder.

When she’s not working, she enjoys tea, DIY projects, and movies.

She’s now seeking representation to help bring her creative vision to a wider audience.

Achievements & Highlights

2009: Worked on the animated feature film “Eklavya – The Invincible” as a Clean-Up artist.

2013: Designed the main characters for the animation of “The Others” (Short Film)!

2019: Had her first solo show,Wonders & Stories hosted by Shenarts—what a milestone!

2019: Proudly showcased her Illustration at “Art at the Mill”—thumbs up from the jurors!

2019: Designed a show-stopping poster for “Grease at the Strasburg Film Festival!

Summer 2020: Made waves on the Virtual Illustrator Wall—hello, internet!

Winter 2020-21: Returned for another Virtual Illustrator Wall encore!

2023: Graced the Virtual Illustrator Wall , Summer’23 once more—third time’s a charm!

2023: Showcased her illustration in the AVALON Fall Magazine !

2024: Designed eye-catching stickers for Shenandoah University Libraries—stick ’em up!

2024: Teaming up with the State Arboretum of Virginia—stay tuned for more!
